My New Favorite Secondhand Burnt Orange Cardigan

Y’all, sometimes the stars align. This Abercrombie and Fitch cardigan was released in the Fall 2020. I coveted it so badly, but the price was a bit out of my range. Fast forward to March 2021. A friend was moving (hey, Emma) and she was wanting to purge some of her clothing. Low and behold, she had THE cardigan I’ve been pining over for months.

The moment I saw it, I wasted no time in buying it from her since she was selling it for a fraction of the price. I texted Emma to tell her what I bought from her online shop only to be berated for not just asking her directly for it instead. I don’t think I could feel less buyer’s remorse for this impulse buy.

Now this beaut of a cardigan just sits pretty in my closet constantly begging me to wear it.

This is a second-hand purchase win. Plus, these reasonably priced foot bed slip-ons add an extra layer of comfort. Who knew I was a (knockoff) Birkenstocks kind of girl? Though this exact cardigan is no longer available, A & F has a 2021 Spring/Summer version that’s equally eye-catching and it’s linked below.

Secondhand shopping has not always been a go to of mine when it came to buying clothes. The older I get and the more cautious I am about where and when my money is spent, the more that mentality is changing. Give me a one of a kind or significantly discounted piece from two seasons ago any day, please.

If you’re in need of a replenishment, the links to the look are below.
