Denim and A Faux Unitard: Outfit Edits
No Buy July
My ‘No Buy in July’ is in full swing and I’m leaning on my closet, IG, and Pinterest to get me through it successfully. Today I’m featuring a look entirely inspired by Kim Turkington .
A Faux Unitard
What I initially assumed was a Biker Unitard ended up being a tank top and biker shorts combination. This pairing thrilled me! I don’t own a unitard and I’m not sure I ever will. Nothing against them, I just never considered me the type of person to pull one off well and I’m not interested in buying one to find out.
I took a page out Kim’s book (we’re on a first name basis in my mind lol) and pieced together my Black Tank Top and Biker Shorts to give the appearance of a unitard. No surprise— it worked out just fine! It’s sporty, minimalistic, comfy and money saving. I love it!
A Denim Shirt For The Win
I found an Indigo Button-Down that’s similar to the one Kim’s wearing, but I went with my oversized Denim Shirt instead. It’s pretty heavy duty and not the most practical for summer. BUT! I plan to take it off and tie it around either my shoulders or waist if I get too hot.
