My Go-To Tea Recipe
I am not a coffee drinker and sometimes, I wish I were. I love coffee’s aroma, but what coffee does for others, seemingly does the opposite to me. When I drank coffee in the past, I would get very tired and lethargic. My mouth gets dry and I have to drink water for an entirety of a day to get it back to normal. I think the amount of caffeine in it puts my body in some sort of shock causing it to immediately shut down. (Strange, I know)
What I can and love to drink is tea. Being from the south, I’m well versed in cold sweet tea, but it wasn’t until my adulthood that I was introduced to the assortment that is hot tea. I created my own tea recipe and I have to say, it’s good every time. You likely have all of the ingredients I use in your own cabinets.
Hot Tip: I’m pro sweet as opposed to bitter, but just know, my simple recipe allows for deviations. So, make it how you want it.
